A Note on Perspectives
There are some really fantastic TTRPG blogs out there that are written by extremely talented people with decades of experience playing games and running campaigns. This is pretty much the opposite of that. Outside of a couple of starter sets that I ran for friends years ago, I don’t have experience with tabletop RPGs. I’ve always had an interest in them, but it’s only been about a month that I actually took the time to attempt to play one solo.
Why am I saying this? Because I’m very much in a “mistakes made, lessons learned” phase of the journey. These are just the thoughts of a person trying different things and talking about what they liked and disliked about them. I hope they give you inspiration on your own journey as well.
